June could bring another upswing in corn and soybean prices after both markets recently pulled back from their highs, according to Landus Cooperative grain strategist Micheal Weidner.
Dry weather in June and July is the main risk that could reignite the rally, especially after the USDA projected a large soybean crop that leaves prices sensitive to weather shifts.
For corn, Weidner said producers should recalibrate marketing plans now so they are ready to act if prices strengthen again.
The outlook suggests farmers who feared they missed earlier selling opportunities may still get another chance, though Weidner urged them to focus on farm-specific goals rather than headline noise.
