Herb Achey joined Fidelis Capital as a partner, bringing 30 years at U.S. Trust/Bank of America Private Bank and oversight of more than $2 billion in client assets.
Fidelis said Achey chose the nearly 4-year-old firm for its culture and client approach, while Achey cited “moral courage” and consistent delivery as reasons for joining.
At the firm, which manages close to $3 billion, Achey will sit on an investment committee that already includes several former Bank of America and Wells Fargo Private Bank executives.
Achey’s hire deepens Fidelis’s push in ultra-high-net-worth and family-office investing, drawing on his 45-plus years advising wealthy families, institutions and concentrated equity portfolios.
