Luke Lv Launches Free 2-Drive Stow App to Verify Memory Card Backups

Stow is now available as a free app that tells photographers and videographers when a memory card has been safely backed up and can be wiped for reuse.
The software copies a card to 2 drives at once, then reads and verifies every file on both destinations against the original card without writing anything back to the card.
Luke Lv said he built Stow after his UK production team grew frustrated with per-user offload software and with native macOS and Windows copying that does not verify data integrity.
The dual-drive workflow supports a 3-2-1 backup approach—3 copies on 2 physical drives plus 1 off-site copy—reducing the risk of unnoticed corruption before a card is reformatted.
Stow requires no account or in-app purchases, but it is not yet certified by Apple or Microsoft, so users must follow extra installation steps while Lv seeks approval.
