The CPC carries about 2% of global daily crude supply; loading restrictions at Novorossiysk forced Kazakhstan to cut output even though the pipeline and oil fields were not physically damaged.
Chevron has a 15% CPC stake and a 50% interest in Tengiz, which accounts for roughly 12% of its global crude output, giving the administration added incentive as oil stays above $100 a barrel.
Ukraine is still widening its maritime drone campaign, saying it hit a tanker carrying Russian fuel and reporting 172 vessels struck over 13 days as pressure builds on Russian logistics in Crimea.
