Ukraine SOF Drones Hit 9-Million-Tonne Tyumen Refinery 2,000 km Inside Russia, Igniting Fire

Ukraine's Special Operations Forces said their drones struck the Tyumen oil refinery again, setting the site ablaze despite its location more than 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border.
SOF said the refinery's key units were shielded by anti-drone netting, but the defenses failed; the underground resistance group Chernaya Iskra helped facilitate the operation.
The attack was a repeat hit on the same plant, which SOF said it had already struck successfully on 20 June.
Tyumen can process up to 9 million tonnes of crude a year and specializes in high-grade petrol and diesel, making it a significant target in Ukraine's campaign against Russian fuel and military-industrial assets.
