Summary
Alerts run from 9:00 BST on Tuesday to 9:00 BST on Friday across the South West, South East, London, East of England, both Midlands and Yorkshire and The Humber.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 30-35C on Wednesday in the Midlands and southern and eastern England, likely triggering another heatwave after a largely dry July.
UKHSA said the heat could cause minor disruption to health and social care services and raise the risk to life for vulnerable people.
Dry conditions are set to worsen because weekend rain largely missed southern, central and eastern England; Wisley in Surrey has gone 39 days without rain.
The heatwave comes as parts of Wales are already in drought and parts of southern, central and eastern England remain in prolonged dry weather, one step before drought.
