Hours earlier in Washington, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had a good meeting with Donald Trump, pressed senators for tougher sanctions, and discussed Patriot production and technology cooperation with Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
Ukraine is also widening pressure at sea and in rear areas, saying its forces hit 201 Russian vessels in three weeks as prospects for a negotiated settlement remain dim.
