President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces sank the Russian-flagged, sanctioned container ship Yanina after a strike, adding that operations also hit targets in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
Three Bashkortostan oil refineries were also struck by Ukraine's Security Service, with Zelenskyy saying the sites lie nearly 1,600 kilometers from Ukraine and process millions of tonnes of oil each year.
