Summary
Third practice of Dolphins camp brought a sharper Malik Willis, who answered a rough Thursday with a red-zone touchdown pass to Ben Sims and his first designed rushing score of camp.
Caleb Douglas drove much of that bounce-back, catching two early downfield passes from Willis and later making a one-handed 5-yard touchdown grab in the corner during red-zone work.
One mistake still showed up: Alex Austin intercepted Willis over the middle after Tyrel Dodson jarred the ball loose from Will Kacmarek, while Ethan Robinson also picked off fourth-string QB Mark Gronowski in the end zone.
Pass rush remained a concern on a red-zone-heavy day, though Zach Sieler and Kenneth Grant combined for a sack on the final play and Robert Beal Jr. also appeared to get home on Quinn Ewers.
Miami otherwise had nearly a full active roster available for its first three camp sessions, with only Darrell Baker Jr., Storm Duck and Chris Bell sidelined, before fans attend Sunday’s next practice.
