Daniel Ramirez, 47, was released early Sunday after posting bond and immediately denied shoving a Miami Hard Rock Cafe bartender, calling the encounter "an accident."
Surveillance video released by authorities days earlier allegedly shows Ramirez violently pushing the woman to the ground on July 26, after she confronted him for eating drink garnishes in an employee-only bar area.
Police say the bartender was knocked down twice, lost consciousness and suffered injuries after Ramirez complained that no woman should tell him what to do; he was arrested Friday at PortMiami's Royal Caribbean terminal.
The bartender, who asked not to be identified, thanked detectives for finding Ramirez, while he said after release that he was heading back home to Texas.
