Shania Twain said husband Frederic Thiebaud is her “forever true love,” underscoring the bond she built after her marriage to producer Robert “Mutt” Lange ended.
In 2008, Twain’s 14-year marriage collapsed after she discovered Lange’s affair with her close friend and former assistant, Marie-Anne Thiebaud.
Frederic Thiebaud was also drawn into that fallout because Marie-Anne was his wife, linking the pair through the same betrayal.
Twain, 60, later married Frederic in 2011, turning a personal rupture that upended two marriages into a relationship she now describes as lasting love.
