Pirates Land Camilo Doval in 2-Prospect Deal to Bolster Bullpen

Summary
Pittsburgh finalized its trade for reliever Camilo Doval on Saturday, sending catcher-first baseman Omar Alfonzo and outfielder Luis Cruz to the Yankees.
Doval arrives after 44 appearances with New York, carrying a 3-1 record, 4.54 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings built around a sinker, cutter and slider mix.
The move targets a clear weakness: Pirates relievers have absorbed 24 of the club's 56 losses this season, and Pittsburgh ranks among MLB's leaders in blown saves.
New York's return is two unproven minor leaguers, including Alfonzo — Pittsburgh's No. 17 prospect — while Cruz, 18, has yet to advance beyond rookie ball.
