Nick Aldis said he plans to release a documentary after SummerSlam built around training footage his son recorded during his rushed preparation for facing Gunther.
Aldis told Uncrowned the project grew out of a sudden change in plans after he learned he had a short window to get fully ready for a match he called a childhood dream.
A family trip to southern France was scrapped so he could focus on camp, and Aldis said his son embraced the decision and helped document the process.
The match with Gunther is scheduled for Night 1 of SummerSlam, making the film a behind-the-scenes look at Aldis' buildup to one of the biggest bouts of his career.
