Level 3 evacuation orders were issued Saturday night for neighborhoods hit by the Old Trails, Fairview and Autumn Lane fires, with additional Level 2 orders near Medical Lake tied to the Espanola Fire.
Spokane-area officials said all evacuation traffic should move eastbound and urged residents to use side streets as multiple fires threatened homes across Airway Heights, Mead, Five Mile Falls and Suncrest.
Old Trails prompted Level 3 zones north of Airway Heights and Level 2 zones near Magnesium and Francis, while Fairview triggered several Level 3 areas near Mead bounded by roads including Market, Forker and Highway 395.
Autumn Lane forced Level 3 evacuations around Charles Road, Lupin Lane and parts of Suncrest, and the Espanola Fire placed homes near Medical Lake under Level 2 orders.
