Nearly 23,000 pounds of Ukrop's Homestyle Foods baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler were recalled after a customer reported finding a metal piece in a fully cooked product.
FSIS said the affected items were produced between July 1 and July 29, carry best-by dates from July 8 through Aug. 5, and were sold in Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, commissaries and online.
No injuries have been confirmed, but regulators told consumers to discard the products — including frozen items — or return them for a full refund.
The recall follows another metal-contamination case in June, when Rich Products pulled more than 160,000 pounds of Farm Rich Pizza Cheese Crunchers across 21 states.
