Summary
Five new principal actors will join Hadestown at Broadway’s Walter Kerr Theatre on Sept. 1: Kayko, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Norbert Leo Butz, Amber Iman and Geno Segers.
The incoming cast replaces John-Michael Lyles, Jordan Tyson, J. Harrison Ghee, Gaby Moreno and Gary Dourdan, whose runs end Aug. 30.
Brown will play Eurydice, Butz Hermes, Iman Persephone, Segers Hades and Kayko Orpheus in the folk-and-jazz retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth.
Hadestown has run on Broadway since 2019 and won 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
