Yobe Governor Buni Approves 4 New Markets to Lift Jobs and State Revenue

Four modern markets will be built immediately in Sabon Gari, Bara, Girgir and Ngelzarma, all along the 100-kilometer Damaturu-Potiskum road.
Buni's administration said the projects are aimed at boosting employment, trade and tourism while raising Yobe's internally generated revenue.
The state expects the new markets to strengthen local economic activity and improve livelihoods in the four host communities.
Buni has already built 14 ultra-modern markets across Yobe since taking office in 2019, making the latest approval part of a broader market expansion drive.
