Blanchard’s Auction Service said the sale includes more than two dozen guideboats, over 100 pieces of old hickory furniture, duck decoys and art removed from the historic estate.
Prices are expected to range from about $50 to $50,000, with a Ralph Cahoon painting, Marylou Whitney fish paintings and a silver-engraved walking stick tied to founder William Whitney among standout lots.
The auction comes as the 36,000-acre property near Long Lake has spent more than a year on the market for $125 million after a planned sale to a Texas developer collapsed last year.
