Beast of Reincarnation joined Game Pass Ultimate on Aug. 4, with the Gears of War: E-Day open beta starting Aug. 6 and Date Everything! arriving Aug. 11 across Ultimate, Premium and PC.
Most other August additions are tier shifts rather than brand-new launches, moving games already on Ultimate and PC Game Pass into Premium, including Grounded 2, PowerWash Simulator 2, Ball x Pit and Mio: Memories in Orbit.
Four games leave on Aug. 15: Menace, Atlas Fallen, Aliens: Fireteam Elite and Firewatch.
The rollout lands as Xbox restructures heavily, with 1,600 jobs already cut and another 1,600 expected by next summer amid weak console sales and sluggish Game Pass growth.
