David Dennis Jr. Stands by Caitlin Clark Take, Still Ranking Her No. 4 Guard

David Dennis Jr. returned to social media this week and said he still backs his criticism of Caitlin Clark, while moving her up to No. 4 among WNBA guards after previously saying she was not top four.
Seven games since July 17 have undercut that stance: Clark averaged 26.1 points and 8.6 assists, won Player of the Month, scored 45 in one outing and led Indiana to a 6-1 record.
Dennis argued Clark was not top four when he made the original claim three weeks ago and said Paige Bueckers, Olivia Miles and Kelsey Plum still rank above her, despite acknowledging Clark is "on a heater."
The renewed debate follows on-air pushback from former WNBA player Stacey Dales and has kept attention on Clark's rapid rise, with seven career games of at least 25 points, 10 assists and five 3-pointers versus four for the rest of WNBA history combined.
