Kendall Kotzmacher Alleges Abuse at 3rd Sophie Cunningham Rally in Minneapolis

Kotzmacher said a pro-trans counterprotester with a megaphone told her she “should’ve been aborted” at Sunday’s third Sophie Cunningham rally in Minneapolis, marking her first in-person confrontation after earlier online threats.
She said tensions escalated when Riley Gaines arrived, with a male bystander pushing people as police allegedly failed to intervene; Fox News Digital said it sought comment from Minneapolis police.
Inside Target Center, Kotzmacher said Cunningham was booed, pro-trans messages were repeatedly shown on the video board, and supporters of Cunningham were largely ignored; Fox News Digital also sought comment from the Lynx.
Kotzmacher said the atmosphere was more supportive once rally attendees were inside, though taunts resumed after the Lynx beat the Fever and fans mocked Cunningham’s performance.
The Minnesota native has become a visible advocate on women’s sports since losing a 2025 state title game to a transgender pitcher and says she plans to keep speaking out at Colorado Christian.
