Over his last five PGA Tour starts, his strokes-gained profile has been notably strong, especially on approach and putting, with nearly two strokes gained total per event. He also sits just outside the playoff line, giving him clear FedExCup urgency. That said, he would still qualify as a surprise if he won. Kohles has five Korn Ferry Tour victories but is still seeking his first PGA Tour title, and his Wyndham history is modest, with two missed cuts in his last two starts there.
