Spokane Fire District 9 Downgrades Wildfire Evacuations to Level 1

Residents near North Sparrow Lane and Long Lake Road in Spokane County were moved to Level 1 — Get Ready — as wildfire evacuation orders were downgraded.
Spokane Fire District 9 said the change covers homes near Sparrow west of Carstens, east of Wood Road, south of Prewett Road and north of the Spokane River.
Level 1 status means residents should stay alert and be prepared to leave if conditions worsen.
