Summary
Galaxy Unpacked introduced Samsung’s latest foldable lineup: the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8 and the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
Samsung framed the launch as a push to extend its foldable lead, pairing updated form factors with AI-focused features aimed at more personal, adaptive use.
The Fold8 Ultra adds a higher-end tier to the range; a related release report said it carries a 5,000mAh battery, 200MP main camera and displays rated at 3,000 nits.
That premium model was also reported to cost $100 more than the Fold7, underscoring Samsung’s effort to broaden its foldable lineup as competition in the category intensifies.
