Samsung Galaxy A36 and A56 May Drop Below Rs 35,000 in India Freedom Sales

Amazon India and Flipkart Freedom Sales starting Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 could push Samsung’s Galaxy A36 and A56 to under Rs 35,000, making the 2025 mid-range phones newly competitive.
Both models still offer 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED displays, 50MP triple rear cameras, 12MP selfie cameras and 5,000mAh batteries, with the A56 using Exynos 1580 and the A36 Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
Samsung’s case for the phones rests on value rather than novelty: despite newer rivals in the Rs 25,000-Rs 32,000 range, the report says their core specs do not look badly outdated in mid-2026.
Up to five years of OS and software support through 2031 could further strengthen the appeal, especially as memory and RAM costs tied to the AI boom have helped lift smartphone prices in 2026.
