Summary
More than 40 planetariums across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand will host phone-free listening parties for Phoebe Bridgers’ Lost Weekend from Aug. 10 through Aug. 14.
Each session pairs the album with one of two visuals — a custom dome show by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi or an immersive laser show by Laser Fantasy — underscoring the LP’s celestial artwork.
Yondr pouches will lock away phones and cameras during the events, and multiple screenings are planned at each location.
The rollout feeds into a busy stretch for Bridgers: her Lost Tour starts next month, and she also appears in A24’s Primetime, due in theaters on Sept. 25.
