Rising memory and manufacturing costs around Switch 2 media have also pushed publishers toward higher prices. So the “hidden premium” is simple: fans who want to play this remake on Switch 2 are being asked to pay more for effectively the same game, largely because of the economics and pricing norms surrounding Nintendo’s newest hardware.

A nearly 3-minute new trailer for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter has been released ahead of the game's September 17 worldwide debut.
GungHo and Falcom published both English and Japanese versions, extending recent marketing that highlighted gameplay changes and updates to the Japanese voice cast.
