Samsung Expands One UI 9 Watch to 4 Generations of Older Galaxy Watches

Samsung said One UI 9 Watch will begin reaching older Galaxy smartwatches in the coming weeks after debuting in July on the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2.
The rollout covers up to four prior generations, including Galaxy Watch Ultra, Watch 7, Watch FE, Watch 6 and 6 Classic, Watch 5 and 5 Pro.
A beta program could open later in August, though Samsung typically limits watch betas to newer models in Korea and the US.
One UI 9 Watch is based on Wear OS 7 and adds Galaxy AI features such as Vitals Dashboard, Heart Rate Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, Fitness Index and wrist-raise Gemini activation.
The update also upgrades widgets and improves app launch speed and background workout tracking, extending Samsung’s latest watch software beyond its newest hardware.
