Summary
Google Play began rolling out broad Venmo support on Aug. 10, letting users link a Venmo account to buy apps and in-app purchases.
Venmo payments can draw from either a user's Venmo balance or cards already linked to that Venmo account, giving buyers another checkout route without sharing card details directly with Google.
Google said the option is now widely available after appearing for some users late last week.
Venmo joins Cash App Pay and PayPal on the Play Store, expanding Google's lineup of third-party payment methods.
