More than 2,400 homes and businesses in Putnam County, Florida, can now get Xfinity and Comcast Business internet under a public-private broadband expansion project.
The buildout focuses on rural communities including Bardin, Bostwick, Crescent City, Interlachen, Palatka and Pomona Park, aimed at widening access to reliable high-speed service.
Construction is still underway to extend Comcast’s fiber-powered network to more than 3,500 additional county locations, with completion expected by the end of 2026.
Putnam County joins Comcast’s broader Florida expansion, which also includes network builds in Bradford, Highlands, Lake, Leon, Miami-Dade, Nassau and St. Johns counties.
