Tom Cotton called John Fetterman the only Senate Democrat publicly resisting what he described as his party’s turn toward anti-Israel politics and socialism.
On Fox News’ “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Cotton said Fetterman had shown unusual willingness to break with fellow Democrats rather than stay silent.
Cotton added that other Democrats privately share similar concerns but, in his view, lack the courage to voice them openly.
The remarks cast Fetterman as an outlier inside his caucus and sharpened Republican claims that Democrats have moved in a more radical direction.
