Opera Adds Vertical Tabs After Years of Requests, Letting Users Switch Layouts in 1 Click

Summary
Opera has rolled out native vertical tabs, closing a long-standing feature gap after years of user requests and bringing the browser in line with rivals such as Vivaldi and Firefox.
1 right-click on any tab now moves the tab strip to a left sidebar, and another click restores the horizontal layout, making the switch simpler than in many competing browsers.
Opera keeps pinned tabs and Workspace organization intact when users change layouts, reducing friction for people managing large tab counts such as 36 open pages.
The vertical strip is also resizable, letting users trade tab-label visibility against page space as Opera continues adding features aimed at heavy multitaskers.
