Dak Prescott said Jerry Jones feels "as urgent as I've ever felt" after an offseason he called more aggressive than in past years, reinforcing Dallas' "Super Bowl or bust" mindset.
A 7-9-1 finish drove that urgency: Jones replaced defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus with Christian Parker and added defensive help across the pass rush, run defense and secondary.
Monday's extension for Quinnen Williams added to that push, with Prescott saying the defensive tackle repeatedly talks about "Super Bowl" and "championship" standards inside the team.
Dallas still enters the season as a long shot—DraftKings listed the Cowboys at +2500 on Tuesday, versus the Rams at +550—and has not reached an NFC Championship Game since its January 1996 Super Bowl win.
