iOS 27, due in September, will let iPhone users shrink the Lock Screen clock for the first time instead of keeping Apple’s current oversized default.
The new toggle appears in Lock Screen customization: users long-press the screen, tap Customize, select the clock widget and switch between large and small sizes.
The smaller clock matches the date’s size and frees more space for wallpaper photos, extending Apple’s push to make the Lock Screen more customizable.
