Marco Rubio used a podcast appearance to ridicule Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s reported diet of red meat and fermented vegetables, saying he would not travel the world with a cooler of sauerkraut.
On Katie Miller's show, Rubio said he supports Kennedy's "Make America Healthy Again" push, but joked that Pop-Tarts are "one of the great American innovations" after his wife accused him of eating sweets.
Fox News Digital said HHS and Mars Inc., which owns Pop-Tarts, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Rubio's lighthearted exchange lands as he is discussed as a possible 2028 presidential contender, with the report citing a recent New Hampshire poll that put him 10 points behind Vice President JD Vance.
