FX Sets Sept. 24 Premiere for American Horror Story: 13 as Jessica Lange Returns

Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET is the official launch for “American Horror Story: 13” on FX and Hulu, with 13 half-hour episodes rolling out through the Oct. 29 finale.
Ryan Murphy said the season is a fan thank-you built from all past installments, with Sarah Paulson playing six or seven roles, Evan Peters five, and Jessica Lange reprising all four of her iconic characters.
Jessica Lange’s comeback is the biggest surprise after years of saying she would not return; Murphy said her agreement was central to making the season happen.
A new teaser leans into that mash-up approach, bringing back figures including Twisty the Clown, Constance Langdon, Cordelia Goode, Madison Montgomery and Rubber Man.
Murphy said season 13 is not the franchise’s end and that he is already developing a season 14 concept.
