Gears of War: E-Day’s multiplayer beta is now free to all players through August 17 at 10 a.m. PT after a week of access limited to pre-order buyers and PC Game Pass subscribers.
The beta offers Horde Siege—a larger-scale rework of Gears’ co-op survival mode—and refined 4v4 Versus PvP ahead of the game’s October 6 release.
Unreal Engine 5 powers the new entry with ray-traced lighting, shadows from up to 100 light sources, and Nanite detail Nvidia says is up to 100 times Gears 5.
The broader Nvidia update also said Phantom Blade Zero is now available for pre-order before its October 29 launch, while Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launches with 50 vs 50 battles and No More Room In Hell 2 has exited Early Access.
