Summary
Insomniac said Marvel's Wolverine will ship with 60 frames per second and ray tracing enabled as the default mode on the base PS5, a first for the studio.
Mike Fitzgerald told IGN the team built the game around that target from the start, rather than adding a ray-traced performance mode late as it had done before.
The tech push supports broader environments than Spider-Man, with Canada wilderness and Madripoor featuring reactive foliage, jungles and mostly destructible props that respond with physically accurate effects.
Replay features include Mission Replay, collectible whiskey bottles tied to progression, material crates for suit unlocks, Nightmare Doors trials and New Game Plus available at launch.
Marvel's Wolverine launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 on Sept. 15.
