Several features carry limits: HomeKit camera summaries require an iCloud+ 2TB plan at $9.99 a month, some Siri upgrades need newer iPhone 17 hardware, and Maps Local Lists is U.S.-only.
The update is already in public beta, underscoring Apple’s push to refine iOS while weaving generative AI into everyday tasks rather than making the release solely about AI.
