VR Games Showcase Unveils 25-Plus Titles, Led by System Shock VR and High On Life VR

More than 25 VR announcements landed at the August 2026 VR Games Showcase, spanning new games, release dates and updates across SteamVR, Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2.

September and October release news included The Lightkeepers at $19.99 on Sept. 10, CONVRGENCE leaving Early Access on Sept. 17, Knights of Fiona on Sept. 3 and Zero Caliber 2 on PS VR2 in October.
Several titles also arrived or moved closer to launch: Bootstrap Island launched on PS VR2, Omega Pilot: Evolution shadow-dropped there, and BattleGroupVR2 hits Meta Quest Early Access on Aug. 28.
The showcase also highlighted platform expansion and publishing momentum, with Flat2VR teasing more PS VR2 ports and launching a StartEngine campaign to fund more VR adaptations and original games.
