A 200MP camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS was visible in the teaser, alongside an off-center corner module and a knurled ring around the lenses.
Arri branding also appeared on the device, and Honor said the Magic9 series will carry over Robot Phone video tools including native Log-C3 encoding, LUT color grading and a cinema mode.
The camera hardware may echo last year’s Magic8 Pro, which used a similarly sized 200MP periscope sensor with 3.7x optical zoom, though Honor has not confirmed the final setup.
