Marvel drove much of the buzz: Disney announced X-Men’s cast, including Sadie Sink as Jean Grey and Adam Driver as villain Nathaniel Milbury, and showed a new Avengers: Doomsday teaser ahead of its Dec. 18, 2026 release.
Animation and family franchises filled the rest of the slate, including The New Simpsons Movie on Sept. 3, 2027, Frozen 3 on Nov. 24, 2027, Coco 2 in November 2029, and Zootopia 3 entering development after Zootopia 2 grossed $1.8 billion.
Disney also expanded its originals and streaming lineup with Pixar’s Ghost Market for spring 2028, Disney Animation’s Clay for November 2028, a Kingdom Hearts anime, and new looks at Percy Jackson Season 3, Ahsoka Season 2 and VisionQuest.
