Summary
Six games without pay will sideline Titans defensive back Nazeeh Johnson from Aug. 30 until he can return on Oct. 19 under the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Johnson said he tested positive after taking fertility medication following an infertility diagnosis while he and his wife were trying to conceive, unaware it contained a banned substance.
A pregnancy from those treatments ended in a recent loss, Johnson said, while his wife posted details of their IVF process and urged people not to mock the couple's situation.
The suspension adds to a run of setbacks for Johnson, who missed all of 2023 with a torn ACL, played only two games in 2025 because of a shoulder injury, and joined Tennessee on a one-year deal this offseason.
Johnson said the couple still has nine viable eggs and warned other NFL players to get league approval before taking any medication.
