Summary
The BODO CABRIOLET made its world debut at The Quail in Carmel as BRABUS’s open-top counterpart to the BODO Gran Turismo Coupe, with production capped at 77 cars and base pricing set at 1,077,000 euros.
A 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 delivers 735 kW, or 1,000 hp, and 1,200 Nm to the rear wheels, pushing the 2+2 convertible from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and on to a 360 km/h electronically limited top speed.
Carbon-fiber bodywork, active front and rear aerodynamics, 22-inch forged wheels and a roof that opens or closes in under 15 seconds position the car as one of the fastest open-top supercars.
BRABUS said the model fulfills a dream Bodo Buschmann and son Constantin first discussed about two decades ago; the 77-car run and BODO name explicitly honor the founder and BRABUS’s 1977 origins.
