On Raymond Arroyo's podcast, Henrie said years of partying and worldliness left him empty, and that actor Kevin James introduced him to the faith journey that culminated in the monastery visit and confession.
Henrie linked that turning point to his current work, including his book on helping children face fears and building family faith through Scripture.
His faith-focused documentary series, "Seeking Beauty," debuted its first season on EWTN+ in January, with a second season set in Spain now in development.
