Houthis Kill 4 in Yemen Missile and Drone Strikes on Marib and al-Makha

Four people were killed and eight injured overnight when Houthi missiles and drones hit Marib and the Red Sea port city of al-Makha, according to state and local officials.
Six ballistic missiles and four drones targeted residential neighbourhoods in Marib on Saturday evening, wounding four people and damaging homes and civilian infrastructure, while strikes also hit al-Makha's outskirts and a main road.
Al-Makha port operations were already paused after several days of attacks, underscoring the immediate economic fallout from the renewed offensive.
Yemen's military said it carried out 181 operations against Houthi positions over Saturday and Sunday, as fighting spread again across several provinces after a relative lull since April 2022.
Earlier this month, Houthi strikes on military camps in Marib and Hadramout killed at least 30 government soldiers, marking the deadliest single episode of the war in years.
