A buyer who waits until after September 1 would likely pay $499.99 for the console alone, then another $69.99 to $79.99 for one of those games. In practical terms, buying the bundle now can mean an effective advantage of roughly $110 to $130 compared with buying the same setup after the hike. That said, “last chance for massive savings this year” should be read narrowly. Retailers could still run short-lived promotions, as Amazon and Woot have done in limited quantities, and holiday discounts on accessories and software are still likely. Nintendo is also already running separate digital game sales at times. But on the main question—locking in the pre-hike console price while also getting a bundled first-party game—this does appear to be the clearest and most substantial remaining Switch 2 value opportunity of 2026.
