Arrokuda and its evolution Barraskewda are now live in Pokémon Go through the Aug. 18-24 Ultra Unlock: Water Festival, joining fellow Gen 8 debut Cramorant.
Three routes currently offer Arrokuda: the event-only 'Catch 15 Water-type Pokémon' field research, Rainy Lure Modules, and the free or Deluxe Go Pass at ranks 13 and 28.
Rainy Lure Modules are the most efficient option during the event because Arrokuda is spawning more frequently from them, while the field research can also reward Feebas or Clamperl.
50 Arrokuda Candy are required to evolve it into Barraskewda, and players are being pushed to use Pinap Berries or buddy walking since neither Pokémon's shiny form has been released yet.
