A new Halo: Campaign Evolved update lets players disable chromatic aberration, film grain and, on PC, forced upscaling and anti-aliasing that had remained active even at native resolution.
PC players also get working Advanced Shader Delivery and cutscene-safe Frame Generation, while PS5 users should see steadier frame rates and less enemy stutter in heavy scenes.
Gameplay fixes adjust the Assault Rifle on Xbox and PC to match PS5 behavior, make Jackals stagger reliably, restore proper Marine battle-rifle fire, and clean up reload interactions.
The patch also unlocks the free Recompilation Armor skin through Halo Waypoint, but downloading it can erase any in-progress mission checkpoint while leaving unlocked missions and rally points intact.
