Home Depot rolled out a U.S. express-delivery service promising orders in three hours or less for a small flat fee, with no subscription required.
Q2 revenue rose to $47.86 billion from $45.28 billion, beating the $47.24 billion analysts expected as shoppers kept spending on smaller home projects.
Comparable sales increased 1.7% globally and 1.3% in the U.S., while transactions slipped 1% and the average ticket climbed to $92.50 from $90.01.
Adjusted earnings reached $4.92 a share, ahead of Wall Street's $4.73 forecast, and the stock gained more than 2% before the open.
Home Depot still kept its fiscal 2026 outlook unchanged, even as a housing slump persists with July existing-home sales down 1.7% to a 4.06 million annual rate.
